Yamaha R15 beats Suzuki Hayabusa in the most RIDICULOUS drag race ever
With a true top speed of more than 312 kmph, the Suzuki Hayabusa is one of the fastest production motorcycles ever. Around the world, the 'busa is highly revered owing to the warp speeds it can attain. Of course, it's among the fastest motorcycles on Indian roads, too. However, here's a drag race that involves a Yamaha R15 V3 and a Suzuki Hayabusa. Of course, the R15 stands no chance in comparison to the mighty Hayabusa but here's a twist. The R15 rider sets some conditions for the 'busa rider in order to give a fair chance to the R15. Check it out.
The Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a 1340-cc, four-cylinder motor that outputs a massive 197 Bhp @ 9500 rpm and 155 Nm @ 7200 rpm. Hence, in the third round, the 'busa makes full use of the torque on offer and easily outclasses its smaller rival. Also, such performance figures also help it leave the R15 in the dust in the initial parts of the races.
The Yamaha R15 V3, on the other hand, is powered by a 155.1-cc, single-cylinder motor that outputs 19.3 bhp @ 10,000 rpm and 15 Nm @ 8,500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. As you can see, the R15 V3 simply stands no chance against the 'busa. However, the restrictions under which the Hayabusa performs help the R15 outclass the hyperbike in the first two rounds.
